From what I understand Mother Maybelle was signed to do just one 12' LP for Briar. After the LP was released, the label issued several singles from the LP. This same LP was re-issued on the Kapp label with a different cover photo, but sadly none of them were successful and didn't chart. I myself thought the songs were good and was a great representation of Mother Maybelle's artistry in the early 1960's!
